Goals and Structure

  1. High Tech Surgery Club (initials HTC) was founded on October 6th, 2015 and converted in High Tech Surgery Association (fantasy name HTC) on April, 25th ,2016, whose Main Office is registered in Brazil. For International proposes always should be used the name “High Tech Surgery Association”.
  1. Membership in the Association is acquired either through participation as a founder or accession. The accession could be made on the official internet platform.
  2. The Regulations and types of Members are available in the HTC official internet site.
  3. The exercise of membership rights can not be left to anyone else.
  4. The resignation is intention that requires a proper declaration send to the President, in electronical way or per letter.

Goals

  1. To exchange and to promote knowledge about surgical technology, new approaches and all scientific advances applied to the surgical field.
  2. To promote scientific studies in order to develop and increase new technological trends and education in the surgical area.
  3. To promote courses and training workshops around the world, spreading knowledge and technology in the minimally invasive surgery area, especially in those global regions where those ones are meager, benefiting the health professionals and the populations they care for.

HTC Administration and Structure

  1. The HTC is formed by an INTERNATIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE and by the CONTINENTAL BOARDS of Africa, Americas`, Asia – Oceania, Europe and Middle East.
  2. The Continental Boards are subordinated to the International Executive Committee.
  1. The HTC has International Executive Committee Members, Continental Board Members, Associate Members (AHTC), Fellows of HTC Members (FHTC), Halsted Class of HTC ( HC-HTC) , Asklepius Class of HTC AC-HTC) and Corporate Members.
  1. The International Executive Board is composed by a – PRESIDENT, GENERAL SECRETARY, CHAIRMAN EDUCATION AND TRAINING, CHAIRMAN INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS, CHAIRMAN INSTITUCIONAL AFFAIRS, CHAIRMAN NEW TECHNOLOGIES, CHAIRMAN RESEARCH, TREASURER, CHAIRMEN of the CONTINENTAL BOARDS and by the WORLD CONSULTING BOARD.
  1. The Continental Boards could organize regional meetings, just after the official approval of the International Executive Committee.
  2. All HTC official activities, as Courses, Meetings, Congresses, Endorsed Courses and even the use of the HTC High Tech Surgery Association name/approval must be approved previously.

Regulations and Members

Associate Members (AHTC): Members of the HTC, regularly enrolled in the Association official site. This category is free of annual fee and receive 5% discount in all Courses, Meetings, Congresses and related scientific HTC activities.

Those Members could progress for the next Member`s category participating in official HTC courses, meetings, congresses and others scientific activities, when the sum of the system points will reach 50 points. Each particular activity has your own value in points and this one will be informed immediately when the scientific activities will be released.

Example: each course in all official HTC Training Centers around the world give 10 (ten) points for the Member.

Associate Members do not need to contribute with the annual fee.

This category could be reached by:

  • Direct subscrition in the official HTC site;
  • Progression through points system from Associate Member (it is necessary to reach 50 points to advance for this category).

The FHTC is entitle to receive:

  • a DIGITAL OFFICIAL MEMBER CARD;
  • an exclusive CERTIFICATE;
  • a special DIGITAL STAMP to be added in the member`s social network profiles;
  • *20% DISCOUNT for any HTC course in all HTC Training Centers around the world, as well as in all HTC oficial Meetings and Congresses;
  • unprecedented opportunity to do a 15 days Fellowship with outstanding
    Professors around the world – click here to know the available Services;
  • More advantages will be added according to the time.

The FHTC must contribute with a fee of 50 US dollars per year.

This category could be reached by:

  • Progression through points system from Associate Member

(50 points to pass from AHTC to FHTC and than 30 points more to reach HC-HTC – TOTAL of 80 points).

  • Title of PhD and/or Professor

The HC-HTC is entitle to receive:

  • An HALSTED MEMBER CARD – this card will give to the HC-HTC exclusive discounts in fellow companies, related or not to the surgical field;
  • an exclusive CERTIFICATE;
  • a special DIGITAL STAMP to be added in the member`s social network profiles;
  • *25% DISCOUNT for any HTC course in all HTC Training Centers around the world, as well as in all HTC oficial Meetings and Congresses;
  • unprecedented opportunity to do a 15 days Fellowship with outstanding

The MHTC must contribute with a fee of 50 US dollars per year.

All International Executive Committee Members, as well as all members of the HTC Continental Boards are part of this category.

During the annual International Executive Committee Meeting until 10 new HC-HTC could be elected.

The criteria to select those individuals are : (a) possess an international reputation in the field of surgery or medicine, or (b) have rendered distinguished humanitarian services, especially in the field of medical Science, but not limited to this area.

The AC-HTC is entitle to receive:

  • An ASKLEPIUS MEMBER CARD – this card will give to the LHTC very exclusive discounts in fellow companies, related or not to the surgical field;
  • an exclusive CERTIFICATE;
  • a special DIGITAL STAMP to be added in the member`s social network profiles;
  • Free presence for any HTC course in all HTC Training Centers around the world, as well as in all HTC oficial Meetings and Congresses;
  • unprecedented opportunity to do a 15 days Fellowship with outstanding
    Professors around the world – click here to know the available Services;

The LHTC must contribute with a fee of 50 US dollars per year.

* Corporate Members shall be Companies, Corporations or Firms; or Divisions of Companies, Corporations or Firms who know the aim of the institution and provide financial support by donations or other contributions. They receive the information bulletin of the Association and are entitled to participate in the meetings and HTC activities.

The HTC INTERNATIONAL EXECUTIVE MEETING is the annual meeting of all members of the INTERNATIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITEE and serves as the governing body of the organization.

Attending is obligatory.

If possible,  HTC INTERNATIONAL EXECUTIVE MEETING (occurs once a year) must take place in the same city of the next HTC WORLD CONGRESS, whose choice will be made by the members of the International Executive Committee, during the World Congress.

The HTC WORLD CONGRESS takes place each two years, in different countries and, if possible, in different continents, as a rotation, and will have a local committee for the organization.
